Let me start my reintroducing my office situation here at Charles River Pediatrics. My office manager’s name is Chris and I’m pretty sure she is an unmedicated schizophrenic. She talks to herself all day long and will start off a conversation with someone mid-thought. I mean I am used to this since my nana is a schizophrenic but nana is also not my boss. I’m sure I’ll get into more of this later but for now i really want to concentrate on the one and only Jackie Provost, secretary extrordinaire.

Jackie started with CRP in May as a replacement for Bad Mom. She seemed nice and I figured she must be fairly intelligent since she had a college degree. Her degree is in surgical technology, and I’m not sure what she is actually accredited to do but I don’t think it means that as a SECRETARY she is required to wear scrubs every day.

I am sorry sweetheart but you don’t get to work with or touch the children. You are not a doctor. You are not a nurse. You are not a MA. You are a secretary, the same position as me, and as I see it, you are having a real rough time figuring out this job let alone anthing that would have to do with surgery or technology. Now lets not get started on how you feel the need to hiccup once every 5 minutes every day or how you probably shouldn’t be driving a car because you pass out at the wheel unannounced. Lets discuss how you can’t add 20 + 10 and you get upset when I show you your mistakes and then have a fucking meltdown because I have an attitude and make you feel stupid. Its not my fault that just about anyone can do your job except you. You make booking appointments extremely difficult for patients and I am pretty sure you talk out of your ass about 99% of the time. And I get it, your grandmother died and you’re having a rough time. Thats fine my grandfather died in June. But don’t expect that showing up to work and crying on the phone is gonna make me feel any sympathy for you when you dont do any work to begin with. And seriously, please please please stop saying “ruh-roh”
